Regenerative Features

Ecological Preservation

We plan to preserve 100% of the primary forest and only build in previously cleared areas.  The development footprint will be only 10% or less of the entire land project, in order to preserve the natural environment as much as possible.

Self- Sufficiency

The community aims to be 100% energy, water, and waste self-sufficient.  Our aim is 80% food self-sufficient through growing abundant gardens and permaculture food forests throughout the community.

Biodiversity Regeneration

We will improve land habitat and biodiversity by reforesting and creating ponds and gardens for native animals, birds, and fish to flourish.

Water Collection & Efficiency Systems

Grey water and recycled water are used for irrigation. Rainwater catchment systems and atmospheric water generators ensure year-round water. Reverse osmosis and structured water systems ensure all drinking water is the absolute best quality.

Renewable Energy Systems

Generate renewable energy through solar, wind, geothermal and zero point energy machines.Energy storage will be through salt water batteries which last onger and are much more eco-friendly than lithium batteries.

Permaculture & Agriculture

One living ecosystem is created using permaculture principles, strengthening biodiversity.

Our Permaculture Design experts will create the perfect landscaping, swales, and water features for nature to flourish without much maintenance, if any.

Topography and natural landform is incorporated into the permaculture design with waterfalls, streams flowing throughout. Ponds and lakes with beaches are available for relaxation and peace.

Design includes a Garden of Eden theme with food forests and sacred geometry mixed with the magic of the Costa Rican jungle.

We will incorporate some bioluminescent features from Avatar such as bioluminescent mushrooms and lighting up nature in different colors at night.

Abundant trees, plants, gardens, flowers will be planted throughout the land, especially where it was previously cleared due to agriculture.

Our goal is to plant 5000 trees including 50% fruit trees, 10,000 plants including 50% vegetable gardens, and 5,000 flowers, vines, and beautifying plants.

Waste Systems

Biodigesters will turn waste into fertilizer or fuel, and any plastic used within the community will be recycled through a collection program or put into a local pyrolysis machine, which turns plastic back into re-usable fuel. Paper trash will be burned sustainably in a closed environment to create biochar for nutrient dense soil.  Composting will be implemented for all community buildings and individual homes through our collection services or home composting. We will teach each homeowner how to compost their own waste or have the option for it to be collected for use in the community gardens.

Reforestation

We plan to do reforestation and agroforestry with many native and edible trees and plants grown throughout the property.

Carbon Sequestration

Carbon sequestered by the preserved ecosystem will be measured to generate carbon credits which act as a revenue stream for the community and a demonstration for how other communities can profit from the preservation of nature.

Healthy Resilient Buildings

All buildings are beautiful, biophilically designed, Feng Shui, made of non-toxic interiors, natural disaster proof, infused with quartz crystals, and built with sustainably & ethically sourced materials. The resilient buildings are made with healthy, breathable materials such as bio ceramic, hemp, algae, & rammed earth. The buildings are resistant to fire, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, pests, & mold. Architecture will be designed with energy use in mind through sacred geometry and passive design.

Rammed earth utilizes earth from the ground right next to the building, therefore no need for transportation of materials. It has thermal mass temperature storage, so it needs less active heating and cooling, which means less energy, and lower bills. Structures made of this material can last 1000’s of years when maintained properly.

Efficient Site Design

Circular or sacred geometric design for high efficiency use of resources, transportation, and beauty. This will be integrated with the topography, biodiversity impact, and permaculture principles.

Living Building Certification

Our aim is to build with the Living Building Challenge Certification standards while tracking all processes, contacts, resources, materials, and systems to create a replicable model.

Electric Vehicle Transportation

Residents are encouraged to own electric vehicles within the community.

Shared community electric vehicles will be provided for a membership price.

The permeable parking lot will have electric vehicle charging stations and community vehicles for use.

We will have permeable roads and parking lots for the project with net zero CO2 materials and net zero freshwater manufacturing processes.

Material Life Cycle Analysis

We analyze the complete life cycle of every material and item that we use in our building process and every product within the community.

Through analyzing supply chains, carbon emissions, and material type, we ensure it has a sustainable and ethical source. Buildings will be long lasting and made with natural, sustainable, and ethical materials.

Sustainable and Ethical Products

All stores will contain only sustainable, ethical, zero waste and non toxic products including biodegradable soaps, non plastic materials, green cleaning, and bulk products. Reusable containers will be available for purchase.
